Different levels of water protection

Graninge’s shoes and boots are equipped with a range of PFAS-free membranes that provide varying levels of water protection, from water-resistant to fully waterproof.

Water-resistant membranes 💧

Makes the shoes resistant to a limited amount of moisture such as wet grass, very light rain and smaller amounts of slush or wet snow.

GRANTEX® – Graninge’s own water-resistant membrane, made of polyester. The membrane also breathes and wicks away moisture. Read more about GRANTEX®.

Highly water-repellent membranes  💧💧

Makes the shoes withstand slightly heavier rain and larger amounts of slush or wet snow without letting in moisture.

Aquastop® – A highly water-repellent membrane made from water-resistant polyester and PU (polyurethane). The membrane also wicks away moisture and is breathable. Read more about Aquastop®.

Waterproof membranes 💧💧💧

Makes the shoes 100% waterproof so that they can be used in any kind of weather without wetness penetrating the material.

Sympatex® – 100% waterproof membrane made of hydrophilic polyester that breathes, resists wind and cold and transports moisture away. Read more about Sympatex®.

Spo-Tex® – 100% waterproof membrane made of hydrophilic polyester. The membrane breathes, resists wind and cold and transports away moisture. Read more about Spo-Tex®.

Craftmanship with production in Italy and Portugal

Every shoe and boot in Graninge’s collections has been developed with the utmost precision and represents a high-class craft. The collection is designed in Sweden and made in Europe, mainly in Italy and Portugal. Learn more about our production.
